At the time, Daejan Holdings was a FTSE 250 property investment company controlled by the Freshwater family; it was taken private in 2020 in a £1.3 billion transaction. There, Fred developed broad experience across residential and mixed-use property management. His responsibilities covered apartment buildings, commercial units, nursery premises, gyms and shared facilities, alongside service-charge management, compliance, maintenance and stakeholder communication.
